What sales teams get wrong about supply chain

This is a sample post. Replace it with your own writing.

Every deal a salesperson closes is really a promise made on behalf of people who were not in the room: planners, warehouse teams, drivers.

The best sales teams I have worked with treat supply chain as part of the pitch. They know lead times, they know which products are constrained this quarter, and they sell what the business can actually deliver.

Three habits that help

Spend a day in the warehouse every quarter. Invite a planner to your pipeline review. And before you offer a delivery date, ask someone who has to meet it.

None of this slows sales down. It just means the second order comes as easily as the first.
